Miami-Dade Stash House Operation: DEA and CBP Involved

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Law enforcement officials from various federal agencies, including the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and U.S. Customs and Border Protection, conducted an operation at a “stash house” to the east of Miami International Airport on Friday morning.

Covert agents evacuated four individuals from the residence, situated in the 3200 block of Northwest 20th Street, just north of the Miami city limits, during the operation at 5 a.m.

Residents interviewed by Local 10 News described the residence as being “peaceful,” and they had no suspicions of any unlawful activities taking place.

The authorities have not yet disclosed the identities of the detained individuals or provided details about the discoveries made within the premises.
