Detectives from the Miami Gardens Police Department are looking into the possibility of a murder-suicide having taken place in that city.

The incident reportedly took place on Tuesday about two o’clock in the afternoon in a residence located in the 4500 block of NW 185th Street, according to the authorities.

According to the Miami Gardens police department, units arrived to the home in response to reports of a man and a woman who had been shot and who were subsequently confirmed dead.

According to the authorities, two younger siblings got home and found their mother and her lover already inside the house, along with a pistol found in close proximity to the adult man.

Neighbor Ereberto Sinderio said that, “It’s sad. I feel no control. I feel hurt. I don’t know the people. I don’t know who they are but it surprised me because this neighborhood, nothing happens in this neighborhood.”

The identities of the victims have not been released by the police. While the police were still conducting their investigation, a section of the area was sealed off.
