Migrant Teens Arrested for Attempted Heist of Designer Goods at Macy’s in New York City

According to law enforcement sources, two migrant teenagers were apprehended late Wednesday for stealing thousands of dollars worth of designer clothing from a downtown Brooklyn Macy’s.

The heist at the Fulton Street department store just after 9 p.m. was carried out by Alan Bello, 18, and a 17-year-old youth whose name has not been disclosed. The two individuals obtained a quantity of name-brand clothing.

According to police and sources, they attempted to flee with the stolen products, which were estimated to be worth $2,421. However, they were halted by a worker.

The police responded and apprehended both teenagers on the spot, charging them with grand larceny, according to the authorities.

According to sources, they are recognized as migrants; however, their country of origin was not immediately identified. Additionally, it was uncertain whether the duo had been previously apprehended in New York City.

According to the criminal complaint, Brian Castillos, a 22-year-old Venezuelan immigrant, was apprehended this past spring for attempting to pilfer $299 in merchandise from the same Macy’s.

Additionally, he has been arrested this year for allegedly stealing a credit card from a Manhattan NBA store and stealing a woman’s necklace during a Hell’s Kitchen sidewalk robbery, according to the complaints.
