Following the filing and issuance of a protective order that provides fresh insight into a disturbed family, a high-profile and extremely gruesome murder case from Kentucky has seen a rift in the media.
According to Bluegrass State law enforcement, Torilena Fields, 32, killed and dismembered her mother, scattering hair and flesh fragments across the yard and even cooked some in a steel kettle.
According to a Robertson County indictment acquired, the defendant is charged with one count each of murder, hindering government operations, tampering with physical evidence, torturing a dog with death, and abuse of body.
The sister of the alleged murderer now asserts that their older brother was the real mastermind behind Trudy Fields’ brutal demise.
In the emergency protective order petition, Telby Fields states, “My mother was butchered by my sister under his advisement. He has threaten[ed] my life, my mothers, my sister, the whole family. He has called [and] made threats to kill me to claim his ‘birth right’ as the first born.”
It is thought that Trudy Fields was butchered sometime in the late hours of October 8 or early hours of October 9. On October 11, the petition was submitted.
In the interim, graphic accounts were made public, describing a crime scene rife with blood and portraying the defendant as an occultist.
Maintenance personnel showed up at a house on Brierly Ridge Road in Robertson County, Kentucky, on the day of the heartbreaking discovery to “work on a building for the property owner,” as per WLWT.
According to a police release quoted by WCPO, the workers approached the back of the house after getting no response at the front door. They claimed to have discovered drag marks, a bloody mattress, and a mound of hair there. They then made an even more terrifying discovery after following the disturbed grass.
One maintenance worker reportedly discovered human remains behind the house at 12:26 p.m., which were likely those of the home’s owner. The worker then called 911. When Kansas State Police got there, they discovered what the paper refers to as a “dismembered body.”
According to the citation, state police discovered those human remains along with a “blood-stained mattress” and traces of “blood on the back porch” and “threshold of the back door.” Investigators also reported discovering another bloodied mattress and a bloodstained stick next to the back porch.

According to the citation, the maintenance workers said that the defendant was “casting spells on them and being confrontational” when they visited the Fields property the day before.
Police have mostly been silent about the matter since Torilena Fields was arrested and formal charges were filed against her. Torilena Fields had been residing in California for years, performing under a stage identity and even making appearances in movies.
The brother in question has not been identified by law police, nor have they provided any clear evidence that the sister’s story is being investigated.
