New Port Richey Bank Robbery Foiled Two Suspects Now in Custody

The investigation into the alleged armed robbery of a bank that took place on Monday in New Port Richey, Florida, resulted in the arrest of two suspects.

The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the scene of a robbery that took place at the intersection of Little Road and Old County Road 54 at 3:45 in the afternoon.

As the suspects’ vehicle drove away from the bank, deputies from the sheriff’s office followed behind it.

They were eventually taken into custody in Odessa, Texas, close to the intersection of State Route 54 and Crossings Boulevard, where there were no reported issues.

“This is an ongoing investigation and there is no public safety threat as all suspects are detained at this time,” the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office stated in a statement. “There are no reported injuries or damage to other vehicles.”

The sheriff’s department did not disclose the identities of the individuals involved or specify the potential charges they might encounter.
