ORLANDO, Fla. — On Monday morning in Orange County, the Florida Highway Patrol reports that a pedestrian was struck by a car and had serious injuries as a result of the incident. The event took place in close proximity to a school zone.

Orange Blossom Trail, between Lancaster Road and Oak Ridge Road, was the location of the collision. It took place about 5:40 in the morning and was located close to Doss Avenue.
