In Oregon, a man with cancer received the biggest prize, which was $1.326 billion. He assured reporters that he would give his wife and a friend a portion of the money.

According to game officials, Powerball has only ever had nine jackpots in a single year, which was in 2018.

Powerball draws take place every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. ET, and tickets cost $2 each. A huge $619 million Mega Millions prize is presently in the works, but the game’s jackpot will now reset to $20 million. Tuesday at 11 p.m. ET is when the next drawing for that game will take place.
