Kissimmee held a big party for the opening of a new behavior therapy center that welcomes people from all cultures and languages.
In 2015, Santiago & Friends opened its first autism school in Orlando and Titusville.
Now, in Kissimmee, the center is opening its third site.
The plan is to open a fourth site this summer in Sanford that will serve Seminole, Orange, Brevard, and Osceola counties.
The executive director of Latino Leadership, Marucci Guzmán, said that they are happy to bring their services to the Kissimmee area that are open to all cultures and languages.
Guzmán said, “Our goal is to offer individualized therapy services that are made to fit the needs of each child and to help their families with wrap-around services.”
The new center will have different classes for behavior that will help parents help their children.
Santiago & Friends makes sure that its events are for people who speak both English and Spanish.
“We want to create an environment where every child and family feel supported and valued,” said Marytza Sanz, Founder, President, and CEO of Latino Leadership. “We do this by providing therapy and education services that are open to all cultures and languages.”
Thursday was the day of the event where the ribbon was cut.
