SARASOTA, Fla. — The last scratch-off ticket from the Florida Lottery’s 50X The Cash game that won the top prize was cashed in by a 37-year-old woman from Sarasota.
Leslye Jaramillo, who is 37 and lives in Sarasota, went to the Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee to claim her $1 million win. She decided to get the money all at once, in one lump sum of $890,000.
The chance that she would win the top prize was 1 in 3,811,410. No one has yet to claim any of the 15 $1 million prizes.
Jaramillo bought her winning ticket at Sarasota’s Super Stop, which is at 3138 17th Street. The store that sold the winning scratch-off ticket will get a bonus fee of $2,000.
The $5 game has cash wins worth more than $131 million, with 15 top prizes of $1,000,000. The chances of winning the game as a whole are 1 in 3.97.
