Savor the Flavor: The Greatest Sandwich in America Chain Expands Further in Florida

A sandwich is an easily accessible, satisfying, and budget-friendly meal option available at restaurants.

It combines various food groups in a convenient package, and you can customize it to your liking without the hassle of buying and preparing all the ingredients yourself.

For Floridians craving a sandwich, there are several chain restaurants to consider, such as Subway, Jersey Mike’s, or Jimmy John’s.

Surprisingly, none of the mentioned chains were recently awarded the title of “the greatest sandwich in America.” Instead, the winning shop is now expanding into Florida by opening new stores.

Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop originated in the mid-1970s, founded by two sisters as per the company’s website. The eatery is known for its use of fresh rolls and high-quality meats and cheeses. Their menu boasts a diverse selection, including cheesesteaks, Wagyu beef sandwiches, turkey sandwiches, as well as classics like Italian and meatball subs.

“The Greatest Sandwich In America:” PR Newswire has reported, according to AOL.com, that Capriotti’s renowned sub, “the Bobbie,” earned the title of “the greatest sandwich in America.” This accolade was bestowed based on the votes of “thousands of readers.”

Expansion in Florida: The company currently operates in Tampa, Lutz, Odessa, Miami, and Jacksonville, as stated on its website.

A new establishment in Bradenton, Florida, recently opened in late December 2023 on Cortez Road.

According to What Now Jacksonville, there are plans for two additional locations in Jacksonville.

Pricing Details: As per Its Yummy, the majority of medium-sized subs (10 inches) are priced at $12.49, while the largest (18 inches) is available for $21.99.

Feedback from Florida: The Odessa location has received a rating of 3.5 out of 5 stars. Many customers have highlighted the generous portion sizes and the sandwiches’ abundant ingredients.

Kathy, a reviewer, wrote:

“Five stars all the way! Sandwiches filled to overflowing and their buns/bread are always fresh and delicious. Tonight I ordered the “small cheesesteak” which was anything but small! (My husband) had the 18″… grilled Italian sub – which looked like it could have fed four people! Both were fantastic!”
