Shocking Assault at AMC Pompano Beach 18 Theater Viral Video Sparks Outrage

A viral video emerged on social media last Thursday, showing a man being assaulted by an unidentified individual, whom the police are still unable to locate. The incident reportedly took place at the AMC Pompano Beach 18 theater, located at 2315 N. Federal Highway.

As previously reported, a 63-year-old man was subjected to a brutal attack inside the movie theater when he and his wife arrived for a screening of the new “Insidious” movie.

They had purchased seats in advance, but upon arrival, they found another couple occupying their seats. In a recent interview with NBC Miami, the victim shared his account of the incident. According to him, the man occupying his seats refused to give them up and stared at him instead.

The victim recalled telling the couple that they could keep the seats, but the man taunted him, saying, “Go run to your wife, little boy.” This remark led to a confrontation.

The man suddenly lunged at the victim, forcing him backward, and he stumbled over the stairs. Once on the ground, the assailant continued his attack, pummeling the victim relentlessly, leaving him with no opportunity to defend himself.

The victim’s wife and other witnesses attempted to intervene, but the assault happened so swiftly that they couldn’t prevent it.

The 63-year-old victim, a disabled veteran, sustained a broken nose and required stitches at a nearby hospital. He expressed his disbelief that someone would initiate such violence in a movie theater.

As of now, the attacker remains at large, and authorities are appealing to the public for assistance in resolving the case.
