Spirit Halloween recently launched Spirit Christmas stores, which are currently operational.
According to the company’s website, six of the eight locations in the Northeast started operations this week, and two more—in Bohemia, New York, and Marlton, New Jersey—are scheduled to launch later in November.
The first anticipated opening was a flagship Spirit Christmas store in May’s Landing, New Jersey. Additionally, Brick Township and Marlton will open sites in the Philadelphia area.
Spencer Gifts’ Spirit Halloween, the premier destination for Halloween costumes and decorations, announced to ABC News in October that its new Spirit Christmas store idea was going to be launched.
“We’re hopeful it will resonate with our customers,” the company stated at the time. “Our goal is to create a festive retail experience that captures the spirit of the season, much like we do for Halloween.”
According to the firm, every Spirit Christmas store would provide “a unique shopping experience, brimming with a vast assortment of holiday décor, apparel, inflatables, gifts, and stocking stuffers.”
The visitors will also have the chance to meet Santa Claus and take a picture with the renowned character for their yearly free digital postcard.
Regarding the experience for guests at the store, the firm stated, “Explore the life-sized gingerbread village, where you can mail your letter to Santa at the North Pole and find out whether you’ve been naughty or nice.”
