Colorado citizens who meet the eligibility requirements may receive rebate payments of up to $1,112 year, with the possibility of receiving an extra $1,600 in TABOR refunds.

The fact that applicants can still apply even in the absence of a Social Security Number (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) is especially useful. Their eligibility for this financial aid is still intact if they file the Application for Alternate Identification Number (form DR 0019).

Survivor spouses who are 58 years of age or older, full-year Colorado residents who are 65 years of age or older, and people of any age with qualifying disabilities are the only groups eligible for the PTC rebate.

To guarantee that the financial aid reaches the people who need it most, the program sets specified income limits: $18,026 for single filers and $24,345 for married couples filing jointly.

During the qualifying period, applicants must have paid property taxes, rent, or heating bills in addition to meeting the requirements for age, income, and residency.

When will you be paid for your October PTC Rebate?

Payment schedules are meticulously scheduled according to the date of application receipt and processing. Payments are distributed by the state annually in installments based on the date of your approval.

In the event that your application was completed by September 10, 2024, for example, the first installment of payment will be sent by October 5 and the second by October 15.

Direct deposit beneficiaries will receive their cash more quickly, but holders of paper checks will receive their payments a little later. It is recommended that you submit your application in January or early February if you want to speed up the processing of your rebate.

Remind yourself that representatives won’t have updates until processing is finished, so wait until after the planned payment dates to inquire on the status of your rebate. The Department will send you a letter informing you if your application is rejected.
