PALM BEACH, Fla — Supporters of former President Donald Trump in the local community expressed their unwavering loyalty to him despite the Department of Justice unveiled a federal indictment that outlined serious charges related to the mishandling of classified documents.
On Friday, a relatively smaller crowd than before gathered near the Mar-a-Lago estate along Southern Boulevard, proudly waving flags.
Several months ago, a larger assembly had formed when the ex-commander-in-chief faced his initial indictment by a New York judge in state court, focusing on his business transactions.
Reflecting on the recent development, Maria Korynsel from North Palm Beach remarked, “I believe this will only make him stronger, and it won’t alter his position in the upcoming 2024 presidential run.”
The indictment presented on Friday offered intricate specifics, including photographic evidence of boxes containing classified government materials found throughout Trump’s property—stored in places such as a storage room, a ballroom, and even a bathroom.
Korynsel expressed her skepticism, stating, “No one can provide us with time-stamped photographs. It’s outrageous. It’s just another tactic employed by the political left.”
The group affirmed their commitment to return near Trump’s club on Sunday and expressed plans to travel to Miami for a rally on Tuesday, where the former president is expected to appear before a federal judge to enter a plea.
