After reportedly fatally assaulting his grandma this week after a family argument, a teenager is currently being held.
When there was an allegation of an ongoing assault, on Tuesday, October 8, officers from the Erlanger and Independence Police departments arrived to a residence.
Wyatt Testerman, 18, was the suspect who police discovered outside the house. They apprehended him without any problems right away.
Police said they found 74-year-old Cheri Oliver, the victim, suffering from head damage inside the home.
She was taken to the hospital, where it was declared she had passed away. A family conflict was the cause of the occurrence, according to additional inquiry.
Wyatt Testerman “became violent for no apparent reason,” according to a standard citation that a local news outlet examined. He repeatedly struck Oliver with his fist and a “metal drinking tumbler.”

Testerman is being jailed at the Kenton County Jail on a $500,000 bond, and he is accused of murder.
A court reportedly stated that Testerman might spend at least 20 years and perhaps even life in prison if found guilty, according to the news source.
Testerman was said to have displayed no emotion throughout his arraignment. On October 15, he is due back in court.
