Teen Party Horror 17-Year-Old Arrested in Shooting Death of Fellow Teen

After a shooting on Sunday morning that resulted in the death of one youngster and the injury of three others, police have detained a 17-year-old suspect in connection with the incident.

Although this person has been charged with murder in the first degree for the death, in the eyes of the law they are still considered a juvenile.

An unfortunate incident occurred at an aquinceanera that was being held at Scott Driver Park, which is situated at 10100 Highway 78 West, in close proximity to Lake Okeechobee.

Four young people who were partygoers were shot during the incident that occurred there.

Spokeman Jack Nash told that “Through our investigation and interviews, we learned that sometime during the party, a fight turned deadly when our suspect … was witnessed shooting the victim multiple times.”

“While in the hospital, the suspect, who had been shot in the leg, confessed to firing the deadly shots,” Nash stated.

The other two teenagers received medical treatment and were then handed over to their parents.
