Tekashi 6ix9ine's Attackers Caught and Arrested by Police!

MIAMI — The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday that arrests had been made in the beating and robbery of famous rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine at a Palm Beach County LA Fitness on March 21.

Rafael Medina Jr., who is 43, Octavious Medina, who is 23, and Anthony Maldonado, who is 25, were all arrested.

Tekashi 6ix9ine, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, had to go to the hospital after he was beaten in the steam room, according to a video on social media and the police.

Lance Lazzaro, the rapper’s lawyer, told news outlets that the attack left the rapper with cuts on his face.

In a written statement, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said that the attack took place at the LA Fitness in the 8000 block of Lantana Road in Lake Worth.

Hernandez was on the floor of the gym bathroom while at least two men kicked him and grabbed him by the hair in a video that was posted on several social media sites.

The sheriff’s office said that the rapper was taken to the hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening.

Before he became a rising name in hip-hop, the rapper was a big deal on social media. He had millions of followers on Instagram.

“Fefe,” which he did with Nicki Minaj and reached No. 3 on the pop charts, was a multiplatinum hit. So was “Stoopid,” which he did with the jailed rapper Bobby Shmurda.

Lazzaro told TMZ that the rapper, who did not have personal security with him, tried to fight back during the attack but was too weak and outnumbered.

The rapper got out of federal prison early because he helped police catch other gang members.
