London gets into the holiday spirit big time, and it has been doing so since 1976. The downtown area and nearby neighborhoods light up with thousands of festive lights. Residents get creative, competing to put on the best Christmas light displays.
There’s also a huge programmable Christmas tree to enjoy, a Christmas Book Walk, Christmas concerts, and various other celebrations. Make sure not to miss the Randy Smith Christmas on Main Parade of Lights on December 3rd at 7 p.m. It’s a nighttime parade featuring floats, bands, dancers, and more.

Ashland
Ashland turns its Central Park and Downtown District into a magical winter wonderland during the Winter Wonderland of Lights celebration.
This special event lets you wander through a 52-acre park filled with 60 holiday displays, featuring over 800,000 lights. Winter Wonderland not only has the biggest Christmas Parade in the state but also includes live performances, food trucks, ice skating, and more.

Lexington
The city of Lexington provides a range of light shows and events suitable for people of all ages.Visit Animal Land to witness exotic animals in their natural settings, or take a drive through Southern Lights at the Kentucky Horse Park and be astounded by over a million shimmering lights.
Additionally, you can go shopping at The Galleria at Lexington or see model trains at the Southern Railway Museum.

Louisville
Louisville is a city in Kentucky known for its amazing holiday light displays. One cool thing to do is drive through Lights Under Louisville, the only underground holiday light show in the world. It has over 40 themed displays, 900+ lit characters, laser shows, and more than 6.5 million lights!
If you prefer something traditional, check out the giant nativity scene at St. Matthews Church or see Santa Claus on his sleigh at Waterfront Park.

Florence
Florence is a town in Kentucky that puts on a big and dazzling light show called Deck The Y’alls Lightfest. It happens at Thomas More Stadium from November 25 to December 31, showcasing over 2.5 million sparkling lights and cheerful decorations on the stadium’s roof and walls.
At this festive event, you can also have fun with activities like ice skating, tasty food and drinks, fireworks, and more.
