A popular TikTok user going by the handle “Mr. Prada” has been taken into custody in relation to the death of a well-liked Louisiana therapist over the weekend.
Prior to establishing himself as a well-known therapist and cable television personality in the Baton Rouge area, William Nicholas “Nick” Abraham, now 69, served as a Catholic priest.
Early on Sunday morning, a bystander found Abraham’s body in a ditch next to Highway 51, wrapped in a tarp. Authorities think that on Saturday night, his corpse might have been deposited there.
Terryon Ishmael Thomas, 20, was detained in Dallas County, Texas, on Tuesday after the Tangipahoa Sheriff’s Office released a statement indicating the social media star was a person of interest.
According to a statement, Thomas is wanted in East Baton Rouge Parish on suspicion of second-degree murder and obstruction of justice.
In a previous video, Terryon Thomas—also known as “Mr. Prada” on TikTok—posted the description, “Practicing for my mug shot cus this might be the year someone gonna meet God if they piss me off too much.”
The celebrity has more than 8 million followers across his two TikTok accounts. In order to have his extradition back to Louisiana considered, Thomas must now finish his hearing before a Texas court.
The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office said on Tuesday that “detectives believe the individual seen in these store surveillance pictures is the last person known to have been driving 69-year-old William Nicholas Abraham’s vehicle” in a post on Facebook requesting assistance in identifying the culprit.
“The vehicle was located by Baton Rouge Police Monday afternoon. The driver of the vehicle, at the time, sped away from a traffic stop and ultimately ran away after crashing the car,” as per the post.
The Tangipahoa Parish Coroner’s Office determined that blunt force trauma was the cause of Abraham’s death. An email stated that the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office had now taken over the investigation.

“I’m absolutely devastated and completely surprised that something like that could have happened to a man who I believed to be so tender, so gentle, and have such a servant’s heart,” Abraham’s attorney Jarrett Ambeau stated.
