Maumee, Ohio – Tuesday evening saw two people become victims of gun violence, as reported by the Maumee Police Department.
Officers arrived on the scene just after nine o’clock in the evening in response to a call about a person who had been shot.
According to reports, when police officers got to the site in Maumee, they found two victims who were suffering from the effects of gunshot wounds. Both victims were sent to a neighboring hospital, where medical professionals examined them and concluded that their wounds did not pose a significant risk to their lives.
The information that was supplied to 13abc by the Toledo police indicates that the event took place in Toledo and that the victims came to the In and Out Mart in a cab that was black and white in color. Officers did not make any statements or give any information on the location of the shooting.
No one has been brought into prison at this time; there have been no arrests made. The incident is apparently the subject of an additional investigation being conducted by the Toledo Police Department, as stated by the Maumee Police Department.
