A personal disagreement led to a gunshot that occurred in Jacksonville, Florida, and resulted in the injury of a young man in his 20s.
An incident involving gunfire took place on Monday afternoon in the 3000 block of 4th Street Circle.
The young man was shot multiple times in the upper torso, but it is anticipated that he will survive his injuries.
According to the records kept by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO), the alleged perpetrator of the shooting and the victim had a previous intimate relationship.
The defendant approached the victim about their previous connection while holding a weapon, which ultimately led to the victim being shot. The confrontation led to an escalation of the scenario.
Following the events that took place, the police were able to quickly capture the suspect.
At this time, the victim is in a stable condition and is making progress in their recovery, and the suspect is being detained in jail by the police.
