An employee of Disneyland passed away after hitting her head on a driving golf cart at the Anaheim amusement park.
Bonnye Mavis Lear, 60, of Fullerton was identified as the woman, according to Orange County coroner’s spokesperson Sgt. Frank Gonzalez.
On Wednesday, June 5, at 11:30 a.m., authorities were called to the exclusive Club 33 at Disneyland, located at the intersection of West Ball Road and South West Street, after a crash.
Lear struck her head after falling off a moving golf cart, according to what the police found when they got to the scene.

The Anaheim Police Department said that after being transported to the hospital, she passed away on Friday as a result of her injuries.
The president of the Disneyland Resort, Ken Potrock, sent his condolences and stated that the company’s priority was helping her family and coworkers.

At Club 33, a members-only restaurant and nightclub situated in the park’s New Orleans Square neighborhood, Lear was employed in membership support services.
