PALATKA, Fla. – According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a man from Deltona was ejected from an overturned Can-Am side-by-side car on Saturday, and he later died as a result of his injuries.
When the driver lost control of the vehicle on County Road 310 at Hog Waller Campground and ATV Resort, the 30-year-old passenger was traveling together with two other people at the time.
According to the complaint, the guy was ejected when the side-by-side car flipped over and flung him off.
He was rushed to the hospital, but he did not survive his stay there. Both the driver and the other passenger were completely unharmed in the accident.
The investigation indicates that the motorist was using their seatbelt at the time of the incident.
The inquiry into the accident is ongoing.
