Authorities are looking for the person who shot and killed a man in Covina while he was out for a walk with his family.
The Covina Police Department reports that the incident occurred on June 22 at approximately 9:35 p.m. in the vicinity of the 1100 block of East Wanamaker Drive.
The victim, who was only given his name, 28, was out for a stroll with his spouse and their three kids, who were twin boys and an 11-year-old girl.
An argument broke out when a male suspect suddenly walked up to them and started to stand between the victim and his wife.
According to the police, the suspect then took a revolver out of his belt and shot the victim twice. After striking the victim in the chest, the gunman quickly left the scene.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital by police, who used life-saving techniques on him before he passed away from his wounds.

Investigations are still ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the tragic gunshot. In the hopes that someone would recognize the suspect, a police sketch of the man was made public.
The gunman is identified as a guy Hispanic who is between the ages of 20 and 25. He has a slender physique and is about 5 feet 5 inches tall.
