Trump Makes Surprise Appearance at Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix

On Sunday, the former president Trump was sighted at Hard Rock Stadium for the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix.

The Republican nominee for president was captured in photos touring the paddock, stopping by the McLaren team garage, and greeting onlookers.

Trump supporter Steve Witkoff apparently had a fundraiser scheduled to take place from one of the event’s suites, but race director and CEO of the Miami Dolphins, Tom Garfinkel, disapproved of the preparations.

“Political campaigning has its place, and it is not at our race. We welcome you and your guests to attend our event and enjoy your suite. However, we respectfully request it be done in compliance with our very clear license agreement,” the race organizers said in a letter to Witkoff, which radio broadcaster Andy Slater first revealed.
