On Wednesday, the former president retaliated against Jimmy Kimmel for making crude remarks about his criminal trial for hush money in New York and the stock price collapse of his social network company.
Trump attacked Jimmy Kimmel Live! host Jimmy Kimmel in the morning on Truth Social, calling him a “fool,” “stupid,” and criticizing his hosting of the Oscars. Following Trump’s well-known criticism of Kimmel during the Oscars ceremony last month, Kimmel read aloud Trump’s post as a live commentary on his performance.
“Stupid Jimmy Kimmel, who still hasn’t recovered from his horrendous performance and big ratings drop as Host of The Academy Awards, especially when he showed he suffered from TDS, commonly known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, to the entire World by reading on air my TRUTH about how bad a job he was doing that night,” Trump wrote Wednesday, further adding, “Supposedly his wife, and even management, begged him not to do it, ‘DON’T READ HIS TRUTH, JIMMY, PLEASE DON’T DO THIS,’ they said.”
“He was made to look like a FOOL, which he is, and at the same time go down in Television History as the WORST HOST EVER OF THE ONCE VAUNTED ACADEMY AWARDS!” Trump further added.
Although Kimmel’s Tuesday monologue was not specifically mentioned by Trump in his post, it came after a caustic string of jokes directed at the presumed GOP presidential nominee.

“Only Donald Trump would complain about being under a gag order while violating that very gag order,” Kimmel satirized Trump after he had targeted the case judge in a social media tweet earlier that day.
In relation to payments made to his former fixer, Michael Cohen, who gave adult film star Stormy Daniels $130,000 to keep quiet about an alleged affair she had with the former president before the 2016 election, Trump is currently charged with 34 counts of falsifying business documents.
Kimmel has repeatedly criticized the declining stock value of Trump’s media company. After making a big debut in the stock market last month, Trump Media & Technology Group, the parent company of Truth Social, has seen severe losses.
On its first day of trading, shares rose above $79, and by the end of the week, they were trading at about $62. Just before Tuesday’s closing bell, the price of Truth Social’s shares had dropped by more than 13 percent to almost $23.
