Trump's Mar-a-Lago Estate Gets Unexpected Boost in Value Post Court Decision

Following a court ruling that accused him of inflating its value, former President Donald Trump is said to have increased the estimated worth of his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.

New York Judge Arthur Engoron sided with prosecutors, affirming that the defendants had overestimated their properties by over $400 million.

He concluded that such a significant disparity, especially from a real estate developer assessing his own living space over several years, amounts to fraud.

This decision angered the Trump family, who accused Engoron of launching a politically motivated “radical attack.”

Trump used the appraisal to support his claims, stating on Truth Social, “this Democrat Operative valued Mar-a-Lago, the most spectacular and valuable property in Palm Beach, Florida, to be worth as little as $18 million, when in reality, it could be worth nearly 100 times that amount.”

Another reason Trump believes his property is worth much more than the appraised value of between $18 million and $27.6 million by the Palm Beach County assessor, could be a legal disclaimer on property appraisals.

Trump’s attorney, Chris Kise, mentioned to Newsweek that the legal team tried to contest this.
