Tragic Shooting Claims Life of Woman in Pine Hills, Suspect Arrested

A woman was tragically killed late on Saturday night in Pine Hills when she was the victim of a shooting. Just before 11:30 p.m., the Orange County Sheriff’s Office received reports of the incident at the intersection of North Lane and Pine Hills Road.

They found a woman who was suffering from a gunshot wound when they arrived at the scene.

Despite everyone’s best efforts, she was unable to be saved at the hospital. Natasha Denise Flucker, age 41, has been identified as the person who was killed.

Homicide detectives from the sheriff’s office promptly arrived at the scene and identified the alleged shooter as 20-year-old Nathaniel Gabriel Thomas.

On Sunday, Thomas was located and taken into custody; he was later put into the Orange County jail.

He is currently being held without bond on a charge of murder in the first degree, which he is accused of committing.

It has not been made public if Flucker and Thomas had any previous acquaintances, nor has the process that led to Thomas’s identification as the suspect been made public.

Neither of these things have been published. Investigation into the shooting has not yet been concluded.
