Two Arrests Made in Tragic Shooting of Angela Sutton Washington at Orlando Plaza

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — The Orlando Police Department has reported a second arrest in connection with the shooting death of a U.S. military veteran at a shopping plaza.

Angela Sutton Washington, aged 61, was tragically shot on February 7th while shopping at a plaza on North Lane.

Upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement discovered Washington lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound. Despite efforts by medical professionals to revive her, she succumbed to her injuries.

Following the shooting, the suspects fled from the area. On Friday, the police announced the apprehension of one suspect, a 15-year-old boy, who now faces a first-degree murder charge with a firearm.

The second suspect, identified as 19-year-old Keyonce Pitts, was arrested on Tuesday. He is also being charged with first-degree murder with a firearm, as confirmed by the police.
