A Jeep and a Leon County School bus were in a crash on Wednesday morning, but fortunately, none of the 17 students on the bus were injured. The incident occurred at 6:42 a.m.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol report, a gold Jeep Patriot was heading north in the inside lane on US 27. At the same time, a Leon County School Bus was traveling north in the outside lane, getting ready to turn right.

As the bus started to slow down for the turn, another vehicle traveling north in the outside lane abruptly switched to the inside lane.

This sudden move led the Jeep to swerve to the right to avoid a collision.

Consequently, the Jeep rotated clockwise and its left side collided with the back of the bus. Both vehicles came to a stop in the Tallahassee Commercial Airport parking lot, facing north.

The Jeep’s driver was a 39-year-old man from Havana, while the school bus driver was a 54-year-old woman from Tallahassee. Luckily, no one was harmed in the incident.
