Following the discovery of pieces of another lady’s severed body behind her mother’s house earlier this week, authorities in the Bluegrass State said that a Kentucky woman is currently in jail.

According to jail records from Bourbon County, Torilena Fields, 32, is charged with one count each of hindering government operations, interfering with physical evidence, and abusing a body.

Several indicators of occult rituals have surfaced, according to law authorities, during the scant examination into the grisly crime scene.

According to a citation acquired by Cincinnati-based NBC affiliate WLWT, maintenance personnel showed up at a home on Brierly Ridge Road in Robertson County, Kentucky, early on Wednesday afternoon with the intention of “working on a building for the property owner.”

According to a police release referenced by Cincinnati-based ABC affiliate WCPO, the workers went around to the back of the house after not getting a response at the front door.

They said to have discovered drag marks, a bloody mattress, and a mound of hair there. They then followed disturbed grass until coming onto an even more somber discovery.

One maintenance worker reported missing human remains, possibly those of the home’s owner, at 12:26 p.m. after purportedly discovering them behind the residence. When Kansas State Police got there, they discovered a “dismembered body,” according to the affidavit.

The citation further states that state troopers discovered telltale “blood on the back porch” and on the “threshold of the back door” in addition to those human remains. Investigators also reported finding another bloodied mattress and a blood-stained stick next to the back porch.

Additionally, state troopers reported seeing “drag marks” in the grass, extending from the house to the location where the body had been disposed of.

The laborers claimed that Wednesday was at least their second visit to Trudy Fields’ land this week.

The citation states that the maintenance men claimed he had visited the Fields property the day before and saw the defendant “casting spells on them and being confrontational.”

When the special response team did arrive at the house, they made an effort to free Torilena Fields. When the younger woman apparently refused, there was a protracted confrontation that ended only at approximately 11 p.m., according to investigators, when tear gas and a police robot were used.

When the defendant did leave the house, according to the citation written by the troopers, she “appeared to have blood on her face, hands, and clothing.”

Trooper David Jones with the Kentucky State Police told that, “This is going to be a long night for our guys.” The crime scene was considerably more graphic once inside.

The citation states that the victim’s torso and spine were “severed in half and the organs removed,” and that the victim’s arms, legs, and head had been removed.

Additionally, body parts that “appeared to have been cooked” were discovered in a steel pot inside the oven, according to investigators. At the Bourbon County Detention Center, the defendant is still being held without bond.

According to state police, more charges might be brought at the conclusion of the current investigation.
