A 23-year-old male has been charged with six felonies following a joint operation by numerous law enforcement agencies to free a 15-year-old girl held prisoner in Denton.

Frisco Police contacted the Denton Police Department on August 22 for aid in locating the girl, according to a news release. Jordan Hagen was allegedly holding her in his flat and refusing to let her go.

She offered more information about her location, which allowed officers from the Denton, Frisco, and University of North Texas police departments to track her down to an apartment on W. Oak Street in Denton. When the police arrived, Hagen was arrested without incident, and the victim was taken to a hospital for medical evaluation.

According to investigators, Hagen met the victim online using the Chatib chat room and chatted with her using the Session messaging app. He is accused of picking her up in Frisco and taking her to his place in Denton.

On Thursday, a Denton County grand jury indicted Hagen on two counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a juvenile, trafficking in persons, indecency with a child, online solicitation of a minor, and possession of lewd visual material.

He is being jailed at the Denton County Jail under a $325,000 bail.
