25-Year-Old Madison Man Charged After Allegedly Attacking Relative with Baseball Bat

A guy was taken into custody by the Madison police department on Tuesday morning after there were allegations that he had struck a member of his family in the head with a baseball bat.

After receiving a tip that the guy was allegedly causing damage to the vehicle of a member of his family, law enforcement officers were sent to the 1000 block of Sunnyvale Lane.

Officers were able to take the man into arrest after they knocked on the door of the residence and made contact with him. The man was forthcoming with the information they requested.

The victim was located by the officers after the perpetrator was taken into custody, and they administered first aid to the victim before calling for an ambulance. The person was taken to the hospital in an ambulance so that they could receive medical attention for their injuries.

The male, who is also 25 years old, was taken into custody by the Madison police department, and accusations of first-degree reckless endangering safety, aggravated battery against an older person, and criminal property damage have been brought against him.
