This week, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office told the public that Mounted Unit Horse Bella died suddenly.
A PBSO spokeswoman said that Bella died quietly on Saturday, with her handler, Deputy Audrey Miranda, and the Mounted Unit team around her.
Bella was happy to work for the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office and help the people there from 2016 until the day she died.
PBSO is asking people to keep Deputy Miranda and the Mounted Unit team in their hearts, thoughts, and prayers during this hard time.
