5K Run in Sunrise, FL to Raise Money for Aden Perry Scholarship Fund!

SUNRISE, Fla. – On Sunday morning, Aden Perry’s family is holding a 5K in his honor at FLA Live Arena.

At 7 a.m., the event will start at 1 Panther Pkwy in Sunrise.

A press release says that the “Aden Perry Hero Walk 5K” will help raise money for the Aden Perry Good Samaritan Scholarship Fund, and that “all proceeds will be used to keep Aden’s legacy alive by giving South Florida students educational tools and rewarding students for their out-of-the-ordinary acts of kindness and service.”

When an 18-year-old was going home and got lost, Perry helped him find his way. Then, in Sunrise, he drove his car into a lake.

When the crash happened, Perry, who was 17 at the time, was nearby and tried to help.

After the accident on April 19, 2022, they would both die.

Friends, family, and people from all over South Florida are now coming together for the 5k run to celebrate Perry’s courage, selflessness, and kind heart.

If you are interested in this event, please send an email to [email protected] confirming your arrival and listing the names of crew members who will be there.

The 5K, according to the people in charge of the event, will not only help students with their schoolwork, but it will also bring attention to the Aden Perry Hero Life Ring Initiative, whose goal is to put life rings along waterways to help in water situations in the future.

Perry’s family has also set up a GoFundMe page that will help students who are interested in medicine or science get grants.

Aden’s mother, Sarah Perry, can be reached at 954-348-2064 for more details.
