Pasco Deputies Investigate Juvenile Bike Incident, Find No Suspicious Activity

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – The “suspicious incident” that a teenager reported to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office about being approached by a man while riding a bike was unsubstantiated, according to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office. The incident was reported by the adolescent to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office.

The child reported that a man who was driving a fluorescent yellow pickup truck and wearing a yellow uniform approached them close to the intersection of Ballantrae Boulevard and Glenapp Drive in Land O’ Lakes. The child said that the man was trying to sell them something.

The allegation in the complaint states that the child fled the scene and later reported what had occurred.

The sheriff’s office came to the conclusion that the alleged incident did not occur after completing an inquiry into the matter and finding that it did not take place.
