Pedestrian Fatally Injured in Sunday Crash in North Tallahassee

According to reports from the Tallahassee police department, a collision on Sunday evening involving a pedestrian and a car resulted in the fatality of the pedestrian.

The event took place in the northern part of Tallahassee, namely near the intersection of North Monroe Street and John Knox Road.

As officers continued their investigation into the accident well into the night, the northbound lanes of Monroe Street were shut down between Silver Slipper Lane and Allen Road.

The Toronto Police Department (TPD) initially reported that there were “serious injuries,” but on Monday they offered an update stating that the pedestrian, an adult male whose name had not been released, had passed away.

There was no further information offered about what took place that led to the collision, thus it is uncertain if the driver of the vehicle incurred any injuries as a result of the incident.
