TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The police are currently conducting an active investigation into the disappearance of Lori Paige, a 12-year-old girl who has been missing for over a month.
Detective Anna Drake of the TPD stated, “At this moment, it seems that she left willingly, and we have no evidence to suggest otherwise.
Regardless of whether it was voluntary or not, we are committed to doing everything within our power to locate her.”
Lori Paige was officially reported missing in June, and her last known whereabouts were on Continental Court near Ocala Road.
Margaret Summers, a teacher at Griffin Middle School, described Paige as one of her most attentive students.
Summers expressed increasing concern with each passing day, stating, “I can’t fathom how a 12-year-old could survive on their own for 32 days.
This leads me to believe that there must be an adult out there who is aware.”
The TPD is in contact with Paige’s father and is diligently pursuing all leads to ensure her safe return.
Detective Drake emphasized the importance of contacting the police directly with any information related to the case instead of sharing it on social media.
She stated, “Even if you’re not completely certain, please reach out to us. We will investigate and determine its relevance to the case.”
