Authorities Confirm: At Least 10 Injured in Wisconsin Shooting

On Sunday, a Madison, Wisconsin apartment complex heard gunshots, injuring at least ten individuals, including a youngster, according to the authorities.

Around 12:45 in the morning, dispatch notified officers of a shooting while they were responding to a rooftop party at the Lux apartments, according to officials. As they arrived, dozens of individuals were attempting to flee the building.

During a press conference, Police Chief Shon Barnes stated that a teen suffering from numerous gunshot wounds was bleeding in the roadway.

“Officers were notified that there were likely more victims in the building,” Barnes stated. “As a result, Madison police officers bravely ran up 12 flights of stairs to reach the rooftop, unaware of what they may encounter. They found some people in various stages of distress, and some were even hiding in a maintenance closet in an attempt to find safety.”

He declared that the fact that none had perished was a miracle. According to police, the victims are between the ages of 14 and 23.

Five people with gunshot wounds were transported to the hospital by the local fire department, albeit not all of the injuries were caused by gunshots.
