ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office put out a video that shows the moment Thomas Mosley was taken to jail.
Mosley is accused of killing his 2-year-old son Talyen Mosley and the boy’s mother, 20-year-old Pashun Jeffery, last week at the Lincoln Shores Apartments on 4th Street.
An affidavit says that Jeffery was stabbed more than 100 times on Wednesday after celebrating Thomas Mosley’s birthday.
The next day, the St. Petersburg police went to the apartment to make sure everything was okay. That’s when they found Jeffery dead and Taylen Mosley missing.
On Friday, police said that Taylen Mosley was found in the mouth of an alligator.
Thomas Mosley was arrested at St. Anthony’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, where he was being treated for injuries to his arms. After he got out of the hospital, he was taken to the Pinellas County Jail.
On the video, a deputy is seen pushing Thomas Mosley in a wheelchair into the area where people are taken to be booked.
Thomas Mosley was seen in a hospital gown with bandages on his hands and arms.
He is still in the Pinellas County Jail and is charged with two counts of first-degree murder. He pleaded not guilty to these charges at a hearing on Saturday morning.
