In relation to the killings of a couple whose body parts were discovered all over Long Island earlier this year, two persons in New York have been taken into custody.
Malcolm Brown, 53, and Donna Conneely, 59, are the suspected victims of the murders of Jeffrey Mackey, 39, and Alexis Nieves, 33. At their arraignment hearing, they entered a not guilty plea to the offenses, according to The Associated Press.
The two of them, together with Steven Brown, 44, and Amanda Wallace, 40, were previously accused by the authorities of hiding a human corpse and tampering with evidence.
According to the publication, the body parts were found in late February or early March. The cousin of Malcolm Brown is Steven Brown.
After authorities acquired a search warrant for the Amityville home where Mr. Mackey, Mr. Brown, and Ms. Wallace reside, the four individuals were taken into custody.

At a press conference, Ray Tierney, the district attorney for Suffolk County, informed the media that he thought Ms. Conneely and Steven Brown had been killed on February 27. It was supposedly the group’s intention to rob a gas station at knifepoint.
Assistant Suffolk County District Attorney Frank Schroeder stated that after the gang got into a fight about the armed robbery, Ms. Nieves allegedly used a meat tenderizer to beat one of them. Authorities think that Mr. Mackey fatally stabbed Mr. Brown and Ms. Conneely.
Later, fragments of their bodies were discovered in Bethpage and Babylonia trees. A few college-bound youngsters found some of them and reported them to the police.
Mr Schroeder stated that “While the case involves the cutting up of bodies of two human beings, the barbarity of those acts were only exceeded by the brutality of the murders themselves”.
Steven Brown and Ms. Wallace are due to be arraigned on Tuesday; at this time, they are not being charged with murder.
Ms. Nieves’s lawyer told that her client continues to insist on her innocence. Ms. Wallace’s lawyer expressed excitement about defending her in court against the allegations she is up against.
The statement “He was our baby brother, he was not perfect but nobody deserves murder like this” was made by Malcolm Brown’s sister, Coreen Bullock.
