Police were searching for the person who robbed a PNC Bank in downtown West Palm Beach, authorities said.
West Palm Beach police spokesman Mike Jachles said officers arrived at the bank, located at 218 Datura Street, just before 11 a.m.
Jachles said the robber entered the bank, took out a handgun, demanded money and then took off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
There were several bank employees and a customer inside at the time, but no one was hurt.
Officers blocked off the front of the bank with crime scene tape and closed several streets near the property as they used K9s to search for the robber.
