An investigation into a gunshot event is now being conducted by the Tampa Police Department. Officers were dispatched to the 3300 block of West Hillsborough Avenue on Saturday evening around 8 o’clock in response to reports of gunfire in the area.
After arriving at the site, the officers discovered an adult male who had injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening.
The sufferer was treated at a nearby hospital after being transported there.
An inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the incident has been opened, however there have been no detentions made as of this point in the process. There are not any known dangers that the neighborhood faces.
