In Miami Shores, authorities cordoned off a car after discovering a deceased woman inside. They are currently investigating to ascertain if any suspicious circumstances are involved.

On Monday afternoon, Miami Shores Police responded to reports of an unresponsive adult female in a vehicle located at the 9800 block of Northeast Second Avenue. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, present at the scene, confirmed the woman’s passing.

Residents in the vicinity noted the police activity around 3 p.m. It was later revealed that a distressing discovery had been made within the vehicle.

A Neighbor, Loren Moly said that, “I was walking my dog and I see what’s happening, and it seems like somebody died in the car.”

The Miami-Dade Police Department has taken over the inquiry after their crime scene unit arrived at the Miami Shores business district.

“It’s insane, I walk here literally everyday,” Moly stated.

The exact number of days the woman has spent in the car is uncertain.

Authorities used police tape to secure a tarp over the windows of a nearby restaurant, ensuring diners’ view was obstructed.

Moly said that, “It’s very weird.”

The woman was gently brought down to the ground by the police. Afterward, officers carefully covered her and lifted her into the medical examiner’s vehicle. Following this, the white car in which the body was discovered was towed from the scene.

“It’s very unfortunate, like whatever happened,” Molly stated.

The police are currently awaiting the report from the medical examiners to establish the cause of death.
