Love Triangle Murder Trial Takes a Shocking Turn: Judge Throws Out Case!

Love Triangle Murder Trial Takes a Shocking Turn Judge Throws Out Case!

A judge threw out the case of a man who was accused of killing another man in Plantation as part of a “love triangle.”

Eric Robinson, age 51, was on trial for the October 2017 death of Nicholis Wilcox, age 39, which was caused by a blow to the head.

But in court on Monday, the judge in charge of the case said that Robinson’s past problems with domestic violence shouldn’t have been brought up and called a mistrial.

This week, a new jury was going to be chosen for the case.

Police say that Robinson killed Wilcox in an apartment where they both used to live. Prosecutors said that Robinson beat Wilcox with a metal rod while he was in bed with Robinson’s ex-girlfriend, Isabella Tagliarini.

Wilcox’s body was later found in a dumpster in Plantation, Florida, near Cleary Boulevard and Nob Hill Road. The dumpster was behind a shopping center.

Police said that Tagliarini helped Robinson clean up the murder scene, get rid of the body, and put a bloody mattress in a dumpster not far from the house.

Robinson’s lawyers say that Tagliarini killed Wilcox by beating him up and then asked Robinson for help.

Tagliarini has already admitted to being a murder accomplice and could spend up to five years in jail. She won’t be given a term until she speaks for the state in this case.

Robinson could get life in jail if he is found guilty.
