JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man passed away following a stabbing on Jacksonville’s Westside on Thursday night, as reported by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
The incident took place around 9:30 p.m. in the 400 block of Lane Avenue South. Upon receiving the report, patrol officers arrived at the scene and were informed that a man had been transported to a Jacksonville hospital by an acquaintance. Unfortunately, the man succumbed to his injuries and passed away at the hospital.
According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, all individuals involved in the incident have been identified and are cooperating with the authorities.
Detectives are currently conducting interviews with these individuals to establish an accurate understanding of the events.
