TAMPA, Fla. — According to the reports of the Tampa police, a man’s relative opened fire on him early on Wednesday, causing his death.
According to the police, they were called to a residence in the 3300 block of East 26th Avenue after someone reported that they had been shot there.
Officers who responded to the call reported discovering a male inside the residence who had a single gunshot wound to his upper torso.
According to the statements made by investigators, the gunman and the victim got into a confrontation inside the residence before the shooting.
The inquiry is still going on at this time.
According to the police, the alleged shooter is now detained for crimes that are unrelated to the killing, and further charges are expected to be filed soon.
