New York-Based Manufacturing Firm Relocates to Florida, Welcomes Hundreds of New Hires

It is not uncommon for businesses to relocate from another state to Florida. Business, Garyline Manufacturing, relocated from New York to Florida and has already hired hundreds of people.

About Garyline Manufacturing: Personal Refillables TM Sports Bottles, Auto Mugs, and Stadium Cups are among the drinkware and promotional items that this company produces. 1963 saw their opening.

For 2008, 2009, and 2011, the business won a Distributors Choice Award in the category of environmentally friendly, recycled products.

Moving From New York To Florida Garyline, a Bronx-based company, announced in early 2024 that it would be moving to a 440,000-square-foot building in Spring Hill, Florida. The company was able to quadruple its production capacity and storage space thanks to the new warehouse.

Pasco County was a “natural fit” for Gary Plastic, according to Richard Hellinger, president, “given the corporate center’s location and its opportunity for efficient growth.”

Hundreds of jobs and a substantial investment in Florida: On December 5, 2024, the new building at 14799 Shady Hills Road will formally open. More than 500 roles have already been filled by the business, which has invested $16 million in the facility.

Before the official opening, Hellinger told the Tampa Bay Business Journal, the company has been working on getting up and running for months. He explained:

“We had a rolling startup essentially starting April 1 and building employment up over the summer until full employment in July.”
