On Tuesday morning, a car accident in Forest City resulted in the death of one man and left two others with minor injuries.
According to the reports from the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident took place at approximately 7:57 a.m. on Forest City Road when a white 2007 Toyota Camry that was carrying two riders collided with a 2018 Kawasaki motorcycle.
According to the official press release issued by the Florida Highway Patrol, the Kawasaki motorcycle was attempting to make a left turn so that it could go east on Weston Lane when it came directly into the path of the Toyota.
As a direct consequence of this, the right front side of the Toyota vehicle was struck by the front side of the motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, who was 34 years old and riding the motorcycle at the time of the accident, was taken to Advent Health Orlando, where he was later pronounced dead.
The driver, who was 28 years old, and the passenger, who was 22 years old, were both sent to Orlando Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries after being involved in an accident involving a Toyota.
The inquiry into the crash is still ongoing.
