Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office Makes Arrest in Child Pornography Case!

LANTANA, Fla. — A teen who was charged with having child pornography said he liked small bodies to the police.

On Monday, a 16-year-old from Lantana was picked up by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. He is a minor, so his name will not be made public until he is charged as an adult.

According to the arrest report, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children tipped off detectives about the child pornography in March. The agency said that Snapchat reported four pictures as being pornographic to children.

The pictures were linked to the teenager by investigators from the National Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

A few weeks later, the police went to the teen’s house in an area near Lawrence and Hypoluxo Roads to search it and talk to him there.

The teen told police he knew what child pornography was and liked to look at it, especially of kids younger than 10. He also said in the report that he had been sexually abused last year.

On the suspect’s phone, investigators found about 20 more pictures of sexual abuse of children.
